Plan to arrive at Sunset Marina about 5:15 AM for a 5:30 departure. The boat will return about 5:00 PM. Captain Carney will call you if there is a schedule change.

We make extensive use of circle hooks for billfish conservation and employ conventional J-hooks where appropriate for meat fish. The crew will review angling techniques for both types of hooks.

If you have limited free time in Ocean City we can provision lunch for your group. Let us know by phone (410-980-3475) or email (rcarney310@aol.com) and we will order and have your lunches delivered to the boat. We can also stock your choice of drinks. You can, of course, bring along whatever food and drink you prefer. We have plenty of refrigeration and ice so there’s no need to bring coolers on board. If you bring coolers for fish please leave them in your car. The fish cleaning services at Sunset Marina is quick and efficient and you can load your cleaned catch at day’s end.

It can be chilly in the morning and quite warm as the day progresses so be sure to dress accordingly, to include raingear if the weatherman calls for rain. A visor, baseball cap or other head protection is a must. Also bring sunscreen, sunglasses and lip balm. The teak deck affords excellent footing but it’s important to wear clean sole deck shoes or sneakers. No black soled or street shoes, please.
